Rita Calderoni comes from Rossiglione, Genoa, Italy and 8 days after Valentine’s Day this year, she turned 59. She is an actress who’s been active from the late sixties through to early eighties. Her 1st movie was Sweet Kisses (’69), followed by The Lady of Monza (’69), Police Chief Pepe (’69), The Truth According to Satan (’72), Death at The Villa (’72), The Reincarnation of Isabel (’73), Nude for Satan (’74) and many others. Cinestop magazine in Italy gave her their inside pages in ’71 and B Cult featured her again in ’06.

On a personal level, not much is known about Rita Calderoni apart from the fact that her name was connected to Renato Polselli, but was never confirmed. She loved playing with ball and basketball was one of her favorite past times. She was good to make it to the professional team, but went into acting instead. And almost, if not every movie she appeared in, saw her partially or fully naked, with at least her breasts showing. None of the movies were ever A list but are still sought after today.

In her late twenties, she retrieved from acting or any form of work that required her to be in front of the cameras and it remained a mystery as to why. Very little info was available about her even when she was active. There was a story floating around that when she retrieved from making movies, she changed her name and that there were movies in the nineties that she appeared in named California Dreaming and Desperately Seeking Success, but this was never confirmed. Her alleged new name was Rita Cauldron.
