Kimberly Noel Kardashian is an American socialite, actress, model and TV personality. She was born on October 21, 1980 in Los Angeles, California to Armenian father Robert Kardashian and Scottish and Dutch mother Kris Jenner. Her deceased father (died in 2003) is most famous for defending O.J. Simpson during his murder trial. O.J. is also her godfather. Kim's parents divorced in 1989, and her mother remarried. She has two sisters and one brother, three stepbrothers and one stepsister and two half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, from her mom's second marriage.

Although she had appeared in television shows and in also starred in the spoof "Disaster Movie" (2008), she is best known for her family's reality TV series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" , she first gained exposure when a sex tape of her and her then boyfriend Ray J leaked out to the public. She immediately took legal action against Vivid Entertainment concerning ownership of the tape, only to later drop it and settle for $5 million.

She has posed nude for Playboy and is the model of the moment for Bongo Jeansas well as Travis Barker's Famous Stars and Strapsclothing line. She has released a workout DVD called "Workout With Kim Kardashian" a shoe shopping service in 2009. She and her sisters own a California based designer clothing boutique called D-A-S-H. She has known fellow socialite Paris Hilton since they went to preschool together.

As far as her personal life goes, Kardashian married damon Thomas, a music producer in 2000. Their relationship ended and they divorced in 2004. Three years later in 2007, she began dating NFL star Reggie Bush but they also split at the end of July 2009. However, in September 2009, supposedly after her sister Khloe's wedding, Kim started to miss her ex and immediately after the wedding flew out to New Orleans to see him.
